Installing A Magnetic Wire In Your Home

Magnetic tape made from iron wire wrapped around a core of neodymium magnet wire, which is also known as UEW magnet wire. This special magnetic tape is widely used in cable connectors, electrical cables, and many other applications. The magnetic field inside this special magnetic tape has excellent electrochemical and mechanical properties. It is flexible, strong, durable, resistant to electrostatic charge, and it has the ability to conduct electricity.

The physical property of the magnet wire allows it to have both a directional and non-directional characteristic. The non-directional characteristic of this special electrical conductor enables it to be used for different applications. One of its advantages is its resistance to electricity flow. As its electrical conductor is magnetized, it is unaffected by electrostatic charges that it normally experiences. Its electrical conductivity is unaffected by any type of external mechanical pressure. Because of these properties, this kind of electrical conductor is commonly used in different applications such as electrical connector, electrical tape, wire, cable, tubing, and the like.

Another property of the UEW magnet wire is its insulation capability. It is able to produce a thermal resistance that significantly reduces the loss of heat that can be experienced by the electrical wiring. Also, its insulation is unaffected by any type of external force. This means that it can prevent the formation of any heat-related failure in the  sensitive parts of an application such as cables or pipes.

This type of electrical conductor can either be manufactured using pure copper or by using aluminum and copper alloys. Although aluminum and copper alloys are effective electrical insulators, they do not possess the thermal class that pure copper possesses. This is why you must always choose a magnet wire that is composed of 100% aluminum or copper. This is because aluminum and copper conductors have different electrical characteristics that are important to consider when making a purchase.

AWG is the term that you need to look for on any wire that has the ability to form a layer of thermal insulation on one side. AWG size refers to the width of the wire; the larger the AWG size, the thicker the layer of insulation will be. The thickness of the insulation will depend on the type of copper or aluminum that is present in the wire. Copper wires will always have a smaller AWG size than the other conductor sizes.

The wire with the smallest amount of AWG is the  effective form of thermal insulation. When purchasing a magnet wire, it is always better to purchase the ones that are manufactured with larger AWG because the smaller ones are more susceptible to damage or heat distortion. You can check if the wire is made up of pure copper by observing the color of the insulation; pure copper insulation will be white and the other insulation will be black.

The resistance to electricity that the insulated conductor possesses is also an important factor that should be considered before making your purchase. It is true that aluminium wire has a higher resistance to electricity but the only reason behind this is because aluminium is a non-magnetic metal. Non-magnetic metals are more prone to damage so you should always go for non-metals such as copper, steel or brass. These materials are much less prone to electrical interference which is why they are often used when purchasing insulated conductors such as the magnet wire. When it comes to the material used to make the magnetic wire, copper wins hands down.

The last thing that we are going to discuss today is the fact that copper has a lot of benefits compared to the other metallic materials that can be used when making the magnetic conductor. Copper is a good conductor even in a moist environment and it is also resistant to corrosion. One more plus point of copper is that it can support high currents even at high temperatures. This is why many install a complete 2uew magnetic switch when installing their systems.
