The early enameled wires were oily enameled wires, made of tung oil, etc. The paint film has poor abrasion resistance, and cannot be directly used for manufacturing motor coils and windings, and a cotton yarn wrapping layer is required for use. Later, the polyvinyl formal enameled wire came out, and its mechanical properties have been greatly improved, and it can be directly used for motor windings, which is called high-strength enameled wire. With the development of weak current technology, self-adhesive enameled wires have emerged, and coils with better integrity can be obtained without dipping and baking. But its mechanical strength is poor, and it can only be used in micro motors and small motors. In addition, in order to avoid the trouble of removing the paint film during welding, a straight solderable enameled wire has been developed, and its coating film can fall off itself in a high-temperature tin-lined bath to make the copper wire easy to weld.

Can enameled wire and ordinary copper wire be used as wires? Both are wires, but the insulation method of enameled wire is insulated patent leather. Ordinary copper wires can be used as wires. What you need to know during use are: the cross-sectional area of ​​the copper wire. You can know its load size only if you know the cross-sectional area. If the current is too large, it will not cause the temperature of the copper wire to be too high and cause the circuit to catch fire. Second, you need to know it If the temperature of the insulating layer is too high, the insulating layer will soften or even catch fire. Therefore, if you do not have a professional measuring instrument, please do not use ordinary copper wire as a wire. The safety hazards placed in the circuit are very large.
